Written in the book 'Uptight:Story of The Velvet Underground' Sterling Morrison reported that they were always afraid Lou's parents would turn up to gigs with the psyche doctors.

When the band lost their recording contract with MGM Records in 1970 for poor sales, these recordings were shelved and forgotten about until being discovered in the early 80’s.
